I love this robe - no more faffing with zips with cold hands. I also like the fact that you can (using simple zips) put your hands inside to help you get changed - really practical. The hot water bottle makes it the best robe for winter swimming. BTW I ended up going up a size because "my size" was out of stock and actually it is just fine and plenty of room for changing in.

It’s September and my husband and I are doing a Wild Atlantic Way Motorhome and wild swimming holiday in Ireland. We purchased a Gorilla Robe each after reading reviews of different brands. We have not been disappointed! We dry ourselves quickly with a small microfibre towel after coming out of the ocean and put on our robes to take off our wet swim gear. Putting them on is like having a warm gorilla hug!
There is ample room to get off wet things with arms out of the sleeves and the fluffy lining is cosy and snug. The weatherproof outer shell keeps the wind out and they are a good length. I am 5’4” and weigh 11stone - I bought a ladies large and it’s a perfect size for me. My husband is 5’11” and weighs 12 st and he bought a man’s large size.
The pouch pocket at the front is great for putting our keys and phones in. We are pleased with the quality and they are very well made.

Really pleased with the product. Warmth and practicality is brilliant. Delivery (yodel) was beyond abysmal however.

Got me dry and warm fast loved it ! Loved it so much I wore it as an extra layer to keep me warm and when I was outdoor s camping . Brilliant and even better that it’s jade from recycled materials. 10/10 for value , recycled and functional. Love it

What a fantastic changing robe! Cheaper than a Dryrobe and SO much more practical. The zips on the sides make changing very easy and the pull over style is great for when your fingers are too cold to do up zips. The fleece on the inside is so soft and kept me warm after a very cold swim in the sea! Love everything about this robe!!

Love my new colourful changing robe for using every day back/forth to the beach. Went for this design to make a real statement. Robe arrived quickly but I discovered there was a slight flaw on the material inside on the one arn. This was quickly exchanged for another robe. Very happy.

I use it after water sports and carpark changing after muddy mountain bike rides.
Because it's light it makes changing a breeze and the concealed openings are really useful.and it's not too bulky to throw in the washing machine if it's wet or gets a bit muddy.

My gorilla toweling robe is great but i think it might be better for outdoor swimming in the warmer months. I do however also have a gorilla dry robe which is perfect for driving home from my winter outdoor swim.A friend ordered it for me and although it totally swamps me its fabulous.Plus no-one else at the outdoor facility seems to have one🤣

My everyday changing poncho for sea swimming. Easy to get changed under even when cold and confused. Dries brilliantly, keeps the wind off, packs up small, sand shakes off it, never smells, hardly ever needs washing. I like that it’s recycled. This is my second one, the zip front is an excellent addition. Mine came with a discreet Gorilla-shaped logo rather than massive words which is nice.

Used this robe a few times does exactly what you want.
The sizes are great, I’m 6’3” tall and this robe has plenty space to get changed in unlike some others from online platforms.

The robe arrived and I tried it on. It was a great fit with plenty of room for movement. So it is easy to get changed without the usual embarrassing moments of trying to keep the towel in place. I went for a sea swim and the Robe was a great asset. I would like to test it out for a winter swim. For now, it's a good buy and I'm completely satisfied.

I love the fact they are recycled plastic and happy with the robe. I wanted one with long sleeves but this was good as sleeves are long on me. Pockets on the side for pulling up pants are great. I have a winter gorilla robe too and think they are great. Like the orange colour too.

I went for pink because I’ve seen a flowery one knocking about, didn’t want to match. Size Large for size 14, 5ft 6in woman. Plenty of width, nice and long. Surprisingly warm, fits easily in a 10L dry bag with room for flask, cake and hat. I like the zip at the neck, sleeves and side openings. Versatile and easy to manoeuvre. The hood protects from the sun or wind. The smallest niggle is the label, which is scratchy. I will probably unpick it. The clip on the hood is a good idea, for keeping it neatly stored.

I absolutely love my changing robe! Spacious, comfortable and looks so cool! Worth every penny and the best one I’ve seen after weeks of looking. Brilliant value for money.

Wanted a quick drying robe to put on before a dry robe type coat. Material is unusual compared to traditional towel type but it does the job and I love the design.

We bought 5 robes for the whole family. We all love them. Great for throwing on after the beach, or swimming for a quick getaway.
My only disappointment is that the adult robes don’t have the waterproof piece on the back like the children’s do.

We have had so many comments when we were on holiday from people saying how gorgeous this robe looks. The quality is amazing. I would highly recommend it. The colours are so bright.

Lovely quality and design

When the robe arrived I was very unsure whether it would be suitable for a 6 year old, how wrong I was, she loved the roomy feel of it. Being easy to put on it is ideal as a cover up after swimming lessons, perfect for the beach and really bright.

Got 3 robes one for me my daughter and granddaughter all in the psychedelic colours and we all love them. Will be great not having to struggle with towels trying to change on beach. Also love how they are made from recycled plastic and you don't feel like you are wearing a plastic bag.😁😁😁
